So, something happened... A friend (and common marauders fan) asked about the shipname kittywater because they are new to the fandom and are curious what it's about. But I also had no clue, so we theorized a little. It was evident that 'water' stands for Regulus but we were not really certain who the 'kitty' would be. And then it came to me and I said 'Oh, maybe it's about McGonagal' and we were fine with that, found it even reasonable, at least a little tiny bit.

And I was just on tumblr, searching for headcanons for the ship and came across the real ship meaning. It's about Umbridge and Regulus?! I mean, it is intriguing but how? Also interesting how they get a shipname but gxg ships like Emmeline and Mary for example don't really have a real one, as far as I'm concerned (emmary is not the shipname I'm looking for).
